Step 1 – Contact Us

Take the first step towards owning your own business and fill out the Free Consultation form. You can expect to be contacted within 24 hours.

Step 2 – Phone Conversation

A Franchise Empowerment specialist will contact you to setup an appointment to discuss the confidential information you shared in the consultation form. During our first appointment we will also discuss your background and goals in regards to owning a franchise. This may take about an hour and can be done over the telephone.

Step 3 – Follow Up Conversation

After our initial phone call, if you choose to move forward you will be provided with pre-qualification questionnaire. This questionnaire helps us to better understand your employment history and highlights your different skill sets. This information enable us to best match you with franchise opportunities. We will talk about this questionnaire.

Step 4 – Research

We go to work for you. With over 3000 franchises available in the U.S. today, our goal is to identify for you with 3-4 franchises that match your requirements so that you can then find “the” right franchise for you based on your business and personal goals.

Step 5 – Presentation

We present you with the opportunities that we have identified during our research that best fit your goals. If any of the opportunities are of interest to you, then we will arrange an introduction directly to the representative of the franchise.

If you do not feel that the opportunities presented truly fit your business and personal goals, you and your Franchise Empowerment specialist will make adjustments and the research step will be completed again on your behalf.

Step 6 – Introduction to Franchisor

For each of the opportunity interest, we will facilitate an introduction to the Franchisor. The Franchisor will send materials to help you become acquainted with their franchise opportunity. They will present to you their particular process and send you the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), which is a disclosure document for their franchise opportunity.

Step 7 – Review of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

While becoming acquainted with each franchise you will be sent a FDD. We will discuss the items that are contained in an FDD; highlighting items of particular importance. You should then review the FDD in complete detail, writing down any questions or concerns for discussion with the Franchisor.

Step 8 – Call Franchisees

The Franchisor should provide you a list of several franchisees for you to call to ask questions about the franchise opportunity. We will help you to develop a strategic question list to make the most of these calls.

Step 9 – Consultation with Attorney and Accountant

Many successful business owners have a power team. By starting your franchising journey with the advise of a franchise experienced attorney and accountant, you are helping to build a strong foundation for your business.

Step 10 – Attend a Discovery Day

Most franchisors have a Discovery Day. During this day, you are invited to visit their location. You will not only get crucial information for your decision, but will get to meet the staff that will be providing your initial training and continuing support.

Step 11 – Decision Time

Congratulations! You have taken time to your due diligence to make an informed decision that is best for your personal and business goals.
